Clients often want trendy balloon designs for their special events. Here are the Top 5 Balloon Trends for 2021 that we are seeing:
Organic Balloons
The bubbly style of random sizes of round balloons has been around for a few years and seems to be a real people pleaser. It’s all over Instagram and Pinterest. Monochromatic designs in this style are popular for baby showers (shades of pinks or shades of blues). We do this outside on porches and railings and inside for demi-arches and walls.
Balloon Marquees
Some people call these “balloon blocks”. Often they are made using foil numbers on a latex balloon base. We can make them for any age or any theme. They can be smaller for a table-top size or sit on the floor or front yard for the large displays. Each one is custom designed with recipient in mind. These can be made for inside or outside. Indoor displays last much longer than outdoor balloons.
Balloon Mosaics
This style of balloon décor is where custom shape boxes are cut out of foam core and filled with mutli-size balloons. Usually these boxes are letters spelling out a phrase like BEST DAY EVER or someone’s name. It could be the age of the person celebrating. It could also be a shape like a pineapple or ice cream pop. When lined up next to each other, these make an impressive focal point.
Circular Frames
The 360 degree frame is very popular. Instead of balloon arches being a half circle like up and over a doorway, these frames are literally a perfect circle. People stand in front of these and do not walk through them. The entire frame doesn’t have to be covered with balloons. Often balloons in the organic style are added to parts of the frame on opposite sides. For photo book props, we are seeing a lot of hula hoops covered with balloons in the theme colors. Hula hoops can also be used for a circular centerpiece either low on the table or up high on a pedestal.
Personalized Balloons
This trend is still going strong even after several years. Professional balloon artists use vinyl to personalize the balloons. Clients love to see their name and date on their balloon delivery. It’s one of a kind and makes a sentimental keepsake.
