This week I want to talk about how we serve our corporate clients, and it may surprise you.

Yes, we decorate for baby showers. And yes, we deliver birthday balloons. We also do balloons for graduations, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, the 4th of July, Halloween and New Year’s Eve.   But did you know we also decorate for Autism Awareness month, Breast Cancer Awareness month, Peak season & Prime week?  We found that the largest retailer in the universe, Amazon, loves balloons!  We decorate for causes Amazon wants to call their employees’ attention to.  They hire small businesses across the country to do balloon decor in all shapes and sizes.

Amazon Goes Gold is a campaign for pediatric cancer. For that we decorated with gold and white balloons in their warehouses.  For international Women’s month, we decorated with purple and white.   We learned Amazon has an orange mascot named Peccy.   He is named Peccy after Amazon’s ‘peculiar’ ways. We’ve made 8-foot Peccy sculptures and 5-foot Peccy sculptures in various colors to match the cause of the month.

Amazon has a safety shoe discount program for their employees.  To call attention to this campaign, we made a 10-foot giant sneaker for one Amazon location and a 10-foot work boot sculpture for another.  Check out the size of those shoes!

Amazon, Target and Wayfair use balloons for grand openings of new warehouses.  They also use balloons to mark anniversaries of locations.  When they want to recognize promotions & service anniversaries of employees, they ask for balloons.  After all,  it is the employees who have helped these corporations get through the toughest year ever.  They should get acknowledged.  Balloons are a great way to boost morale and bond employees together through shared joy.
