Our gracious host was Denise Chresos from Flower and Balloon Gallery.  We learned Indiana, PA is the Christmas tree capital of the world and the hometown of Jimmy Stewart.  It only made sense for the theme for the build to be “It’s a Wonderful Big Balloon Build.”  Approximately 70 balloon artists from around the world recreated their Downtown out of balloons.  The United Way of Indiana County, PA was the chosen charity for this event.  Their goal was to raise $888,888.  We are anxiously waiting to hear if they reached their goal!

At previous builds, Dori was a Team Leader or a builder.  For this build, Dori had the opportunity to be on staff as a Support Lead.  Her role this time was to take care of the people and not the balloons.  Meals, snacks, nightly events, team building exercises, swag bags and surprises were all part of the job.  It was a huge success!  The host, the builders and the staff were all well taken care of and so appreciative.
